Dam Thermi

This is an organized forest recreation area in Thermi on the outskirts of Thessaloniki, close to Macedonia Airport and close to our company. The landscape is particularly beautiful as the dam is surrounded by lush forest which is suitable for various activities including biking, hiking and jogging. At times, bicycle races,enduro, and several concerts including major names in the Greek music scene, have been organaized. Recently in the area of the dam were added some additional sports facilities that include tennis and basketball courts. Also in the area in front of the 'pond' runs a cafe-restaurant with wooden décor that blends harmoniously with the landscape surrounding the region.The tables of the cafe extend almost to the lake and in combination with the cool breeze and the beautiful views make this a favorite summer destination for a relaxing outlet for Thessalonians and visitors.
