Nikiti

Nikiti in Halkidiki is 90 km away from Thessaloniki. Nikiti or Nikitas is one of the most important sites in Sithonia. In the 14th century, farmers that were from Xenophon Monastery of St. Neophytos in Mount Athos settled there and that is how it got its present name. It is a small village that combines beautiful natural sights with marvellous beaches. If you wish to make low-budget holidays, Nikiti is the ideal destination. As for the beaches, Ai Gianni and the coast of Kalogria certainly deserve a visit. The first settlement was established in the 14th century.
