Pirgadikia

Pirgadikia is located 108km away from Thessaloniki. Founded by refugees who arrived after the Micra Asia catastrophe of the village of Afthnoni. It is built amphitheatrically and its architecture could be characterized as insular. It is the only seaside district of the municipality. In the port of Pirgadikia a fishing lodge has recently been created. The second name of the village is Agios Dimitrios, where the temple of the village lies. Pirgadikia is particularly privileged because a visitor can admire both Mount Athos and the Sithonia peninsulas.
